Biography

Dr. Mohammad Arafat is a dedicated and accomplished General Practitioner with over eight years of diverse clinical experience across the United Arab Emirates, Maldives, and Bangladesh. Dr. Arafat specializes in primary healthcare, family medicine, and emergency services, delivering patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based medicine. Dr. Arafat holds an MBBS degree and has earned the prestigious MRCEM-SBA qualification from the United Kingdom, demonstrating his commitment to international standards of emergency medicine. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), ensuring readiness to handle critical care situations with confidence and precision. His professional journey began with a comprehensive internship at Rangpur Medical College & Hospital, Bangladesh (2017-2018), where he rotated through Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine. He subsequently served at Life Aid Hospital in Bangladesh (2018-2020), managing both acute and chronic medical cases while providing preventive health education. His international experience expanded at N. Atoll Hospital in the Maldives (2020-2022), where he delivered comprehensive general medical and emergency services in a community hospital setting. In the UAE, Dr. Arafat worked at Peshawar Medical Centre, Sharjah (2022-2024), where he participated in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and performed emergency and minor surgical procedures. Since October 2024, he has been serving at Cosmopolitan Medical Centre, utilizing advanced electronic medical record systems including SHADES, CERNER, Malaffi, and Riyati portal. Dr. Arafat holds both DOH  and MOH licenses and is a UAE Golden Visa holder.
