Biography

Dr. Subhani Shaik is an accomplished Specialist Interventional Cardiologist with over 14 years of experience in clinical and interventional cardiology across reputed tertiary care centers in India and the United Arab Emirates. He has extensive expertise in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, with a special focus on complex coronary interventions, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, preventive cardiology, and advanced cardiac imaging. He completed his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, followed by MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He then pursued DM in Cardiology from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, where he gained advanced training in clinical cardiology, coronary interventions, cardiac imaging, and evidence-based cardiovascular care. Dr. Subhani holds the Certified Cardiovascular Knowledge (CCK) credential from the American College of Cardiology, demonstrating his commitment to cardiovascular excellence. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a recognition that highlights his professional commitment, clinical excellence, and dedication to high standards in cardiovascular care. He has been associated with Lifecare Hospital, Baniyas, for more than 7 years. Prior to this, he worked as a Specialist Cardiologist at Lifeline Hospital, Abu Dhabi, and earlier served at a reputed tertiary care hospital in Hyderabad, India. His clinical experience spans both outpatient and inpatient cardiology, emergency cardiac care, non-invasive cardiac evaluation, and advanced catheter-based coronary interventions. Dr. Subhani has significant hands-on experience in high-risk and technically challenging coronary procedures, including CHIP PCI, CTO interventions, bifurcation PCI, and intravascular imaging-guided PCI using IVUS and OCT.
