Biography

Dr. Mohamed Raneesh Puthuparambil, is a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over a decade of comprehensive clinical and interventional cardiology experience across leading tertiary care hospitals in India and the UAE. He possesses extensive expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex cardiovascular diseases, with a special focus on advanced coronary interventions and cardiac imaging. He completed his MBBS from Calicut Medical College, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He subsequently obtained his DM in Cardiology from Government Medical College, Kottayam, Kerala. In addition, he completed a Postgraduate Program in Diabetology from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA, further strengthening his expertise in cardiometabolic disorders. Dr. Raneesh has successfully cleared the Certification in Cardiovascular Knowledge (CCK) conducted by the American College of Cardiology (ACC), reflecting strong foundational knowledge and up-to-date expertise in contemporary cardiology practice. Prior to joining Lifecare Hospital, Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, Dr. Raneesh served as the Head of the Department of Cardiology at Imbichibava Memorial Co-operative Hospital & Research Centre, Kerala. He has also held academic positions as Assistant Professor of Cardiology and has been actively involved in postgraduate teaching, mentoring, and academic activities. Dr. Raneesh has performed a large number of complex coronary and structural cardiac procedures, including high-risk and technically challenging interventions.
